Sponsorship Rules & Terms

We’re immensely grateful to you for helping make our event a success! You’re helping us democratize knowledge around digital publishing, helping our community up their game and helping us put on a top-notch event. We couldn’t do this without you, your financial support and the value and knowledge you deliver to our attendees in the Sponsor Hall.

That said, here’s the fine print…

  • All packages are subject to availability and awarded in the order applications are received. Neither the Sponsor Package page or the Sponsor Application page update automatically. Packages might be shown here for a short time that are no longer available.
  • All sponsors are required to abide by the WordCamp Phoenix Code of Conduct as well as all the Local WordCamp Sponsor Rules outlined by WordCamp Central.
  • Any tickets included with sponsorship packages cannot be raffled or given to individuals not acting as official representatives of your brand.
  • Per WordCamp Central, all reserved tickets will return to the General Admission pool if not claimed by January 8, 2020 — 30-days prior to our event. If tickets are still available inside the 30-day window, the 100% and 50% discount codes will work up until the event.
  • Sponsor tickets ordered after January 8th may or may not be printed on the unique sponsor badge. We will have a limited number of blank, write-in Sponsor and General Admission badges.
  • All sponsors are required to embrace the WordPress License and respect the WordPress Trademark. All software released by a sponsor must be compatible with the GNU General Public License V2+. Please note the nuances about embracing the WordPress License that go above-and-beyond GPL compatibility in the 4th WordCamp Central Sponsorship Rule.
  • Sponsors are welcome to apply to speak, but aren’t guaranteed speaking slots and sponsorship is not a factor considered during speaker selection.
  • Funds must be received prior to announcing a sponsor or receiving the perks of a sponsorship package. All sponsorship sales are final and cannot be refunded.
  • Before and during our event, the WordPress Foundation, related entities and our Organizing Team reserve the right to review and require adjustment or removal of sponsor materials and practices.
