Dustin got his start with the web in the late 90s when he had to teach himself how websites were made. He kept this hobby going on the side with a thirst to learn more, while working retail until he finally found the opportunity he needed through the Milwaukee WordPress community. He started working full time with WordPress and soon because an organizer of the WordPress Meetup that helped him get his start. Later, he lead a team to bring WordCamps to Milwaukee and has spoke at several WordCamps and meetups in the midwest. Dustin finds himself buried in snow in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan now, but loves the skiing, biking, kayaking and other outdoor opportunities there while staying connected developing with WordPress both locally and nationally as a freelance developer.
