Building community and teaching come naturally to dog-lover and business owner & leader, Tessa Kriesel. She wears many hats in her life — all with sass and finesse — including founder of Outspoken Women and Coders of TMRW.
Tessa has spoken on many topics, including helping beginners with their development workflows, mentorship, building communities, and shedding light on continuous integration and deployment. She has also been a panelist on a wide range of topics at Conferences and Meetups.
When Tessa isn’t working on her development chops or building community, she is using her extroverted super hero skills to make people feel welcome and included at whatever event she attends.

Mikey is a researcher, writer, and speaker who specializes in threat detection and taxonomy. He is passionate about information security, data privacy, and the open source community. He holds a GWAPT certification and is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board.
As a Threat Analyst at Defiant, Mikey analyzes threat intelligence in order to provide up-to-date malware signatures and firewall rules to Wordfence users worldwide. Outside of his work he enjoys tabletop gaming and cooking, and dreams of starting a nonprofit to make DFIR more accessible to charities.

Francesca Marano – The Art of Networking
Francesca is the WordPress Community Manager at SiteGround, web hosting company. She is one of the team representatives for the global WordPress Community Team], and she volunteers as a WordCamp mentor and a Community Deputy.
She was the release co-lead for WordPress 5.3, where she served as the project coordinator.
Francesca is a passionate speaker and you can find her around the world talking about WordPress, community, open source, women in tech, and small businesses.
Michele Butcher-Jones – Creating a 5 Star Customer Experience
Michele is the Lead WordPress Technical Specialist at Thrive Internet Marketing Agency and runs her own WordPress shop at 13Core. When not working her jobs, Michele is an organizer for WordCamp St Louis, WordCamp US 2019, and the Lead Organizer of the Southern Illinois WordPress Meetup. You can usually find her snapping pictures, at the gym, handing with her family, or reading a book. She is always down for an adventure, especially if it involves great food or drinks.
Timothy Jacobs – Bringing Gutenberg JavaScript Outside of the Block Editor
Timothy Jacobs is a WordPress developer at iThemes where he works on the iThemes Security plugin. He’s a WordPress Core Committer for the REST API component. You can find him at https://timothybjacobs.com where he attempts to blog semi-regularly about WordPress development.
Dustin Filippini – Panelist on Hero Panel
Dustin got his start with the web in the late 90s when he had to teach himself how websites were made. He kept this hobby going on the side with a thirst to learn more, while working retail until he finally found the opportunity he needed through the Milwaukee WordPress community. He started working full time with WordPress and soon because an organizer of the WordPress Meetup that helped him get his start. Later, he lead a team to bring WordCamps to Milwaukee and has spoke at several WordCamps and meetups in the midwest. Dustin finds himself buried in snow in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan now, but loves the skiing, biking, kayaking and other outdoor opportunities there while staying connected developing with WordPress both locally and nationally as a freelance developer.
John Hawkins – How you can get involved with the WordPress community
John has been building things on the internet for over 2 decades. He found WordPress in the summer of 2003 and has been fully immersed in it ever since. John was the organizer of the first WordCamp conference in Las Vegas in 2009 and has been involved with organizing it (almost) every year since. John has a passion for teaching others to use WordPress. He founded and organizes the monthly Las Vegas WordPress meetup where he’s a frequent presenter and has traveled the country speaking at WordPress conferences from coast-to-coast.
